Write the USB

Extract your chosen ZIP and use the included USB writing software, or use the methods below:

Windows (USB Image Tool — included in ZIP):

1. Extract the ZIP and run USB Image Tool.exe as Administrator.
2. Select your USB on the left, click Restore, choose VRAM_TEST_V21_UEFI_Digital.img or VRAM_Test_V21_Legacy_Digital.img.
3. Wait for “Completed” → safely eject.

Boot & workflow

• UEFI image: Boot via UEFI; disable Secure Boot if required.
• Legacy image: Enable CSM/Legacy Boot in BIOS.
• Once booted, use the guided menu to run tests, view reports, and export logs — no commands needed.
• Logs are saved under .logs or .txt (bank/channel hints like A0/A1, B0/B1).

Important notes

• Bank/channel failures do not prove a specific VRAM IC is bad. Root cause can be pads under the VRAM or the GPU core. Treat results as a diagnostic step.
• Some systems enforce Secure Boot (UEFI) or hide CSM toggles — adjust BIOS settings as needed.
• AMD CPUs DO NOT work with Nvidia MATS and MODS.
• Intel CPUs between the 3rd Gen and 8th Gen are compatible with MATS and MODS.
