Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Graphics Card Repairs

Is Graphics Card Repairs / GPU Solutions a registered company?
Graphics Card Repairs / GPU Solutions is part of GPU Solutions FZ-LLC, registered at: FDRK2777, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
What is the cost of repairing my graphics card?
The repair fee depends on your GPU model and fault. The service fee includes new thermal paste and small components (capacitors, resistors, inductors, diodes, transistors). It does not include parts such as MOSFETs, regulators, controllers, memory modules, or GPU cores. All customers are billed in AED; international customers can pay in local currency during checkout.

Not accepted: NVIDIA GTX 1000 series and below, AMD Vega series, AMD RX 5000 series and below (repair cost exceeds card value).

Replacing ICs (e.g., MOSFETs, controllers, memory) adds to the Repair Service Fee.

Pricing model

  • Normal Service: 10% of GPU’s current market value (minimum AED 200)
  • Priority Service: 14% of value or Normal + AED 200 (whichever is higher, minimum AED 300)
  • No-Fix / Diagnostic Fee: AED 100 (< AED 2,500), AED 150 (AED 2,500–5,000), AED 200 (> AED 5,000)

See the full list of supported GPUs, current values, and fees on our GPU Repair Pricing Page.

What is the GPU Core Reball / Core-Install fee?
This is an add-on service fee applied only if our diagnosis shows a core reball or core installation is required to fix the fault during your repair. It covers the service to install the GPU core—either reballing and reinstalling the same core or mounting a replacement core. It is not the cost of the core itself and is in addition to the base repair/diagnosis fee. This add-on cannot be booked on its own.

How do I proceed to send my graphics card for repair?
First, book your repair by filling the Repair Form. A ticket (Case ID) will be emailed to you with shipping instructions. Follow the email to proceed. For general enquiries, use the Enquiry page.
Why does an AI respond to messages sent on WhatsApp?
We receive new WhatsApp messages every 5 to 10 minutes. Since GPU Solutions is run by one person, replying to every message manually can interrupt repair work and cause delays. An AI assistant helps answer common questions quickly so repair work can stay on schedule. Most of the questions people ask are already answered on our website and in this FAQ page.
What if I don’t ship my GPU after filling the form and receiving a ticket?
Your case remains open for 15 days. You must provide a tracking number or ensure the GPU reaches us within that period, otherwise the case will close automatically.
Can I reopen a closed ticket/case later?
No. Please submit a new Repair Form to create a new case.
How long does repair take?
Standard turnaround is 6–10 days. Once work begins, many cards are fixed within 1–2 hours; complex issues may take up to 48 hours or more. If parts are required, add up to 23 days for shipping. You’ll receive an exact timeframe after diagnosis.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Yes, within the UAE for a AED 50 fee.
Will I be charged if I choose not to repair after diagnosis, or if my GPU is not repairable?
Yes. A Diagnostic / No-Fix fee applies to cover diagnostic time/resources: AED 100 (< AED 2,500), AED 150 (AED 2,500–5,000), AED 200 (> AED 5,000). If you chose Priority Service, the priority premium (difference between Normal and Priority fees) also applies.
Do I pay the Diagnostic / No-Fix fee if my GPU is successfully repaired?
No. The Diagnostic / No-Fix fee only applies when the GPU cannot be repaired. Successful repairs are billed the applicable repair fee (Normal or Priority) plus the cost of parts (if required).
When is a GPU deemed “No-Fix”?
After diagnosis, if any of the below apply: (1) repair cost exceeds current market value; (2) the GPU is broken/damaged beyond repair; (3) you decide not to proceed.
Can I choose Priority Service if I don’t want to wait 6–10 days?
Yes. Priority adds an extra 4% of GPU value (or at least AED 200) on top of the Normal fee. Priority turnaround is 1–5 days depending on fault complexity.
How do I know the current value of my GPU?
Fees are based on the current selling price in the UAE. See our GPU Repair Pricing Page for supported models, current values, and fees.
If I choose Priority and it’s No-Fix, do I still pay the Priority fee?
Yes, you pay: (1) the Diagnostic / No-Fix fee (AED 100 / 150 / 200 by value), and (2) the priority premium (difference between Normal and Priority fees).

Example: GPU value AED 3,000 → Normal AED 300; Priority AED 500; Premium AED 200; No-Fix Fee AED 150 → Total AED 350.

Will repair start immediately after delivery if I booked Priority?
Not instantly. Priority places your GPU at the front of the queue ahead of Normal jobs. Start and completion depend on fault complexity, parts availability, and the number of GPUs already in the Priority queue (typical Priority turnaround: 1–5 days).
Can I ship my graphics card if I can’t visit in person?
Yes. First create a Case ID with the Repair Request Form. Shipping/insurance are your responsibility. For general enquiries, visit the Enquiry page.
Do you offer discounts for bulk repairs?
Yes: 10% off service fees for 5–9 GPUs under one Case ID; up to 20% off for 10+ GPUs under one Case ID. Parts/replacement components are excluded from discounts.
I am a shop. Can I get a special rate?
Yes, depending on monthly volume commitments. Contact [email protected].
Will I receive a quote, and is there a charge?
Quotes are free after diagnosis. If you decline the repair, the Diagnostic / No-Fix fee applies.
How do I get repair status updates?
You’ll receive a Case ID after we receive your GPU. Updates are sent via email and WhatsApp.
Do you accept GPUs from outside the UAE?
Yes. Please verify repair/shipping costs don’t exceed your GPU’s value before booking. International customers are responsible for shipping, insurance, and any customs/duties/fees in their country. For enquiries, use the Enquiry page.

Can I upgrade the memory of my graphics card?
