Why Replace Pads & Paste?
Factory pads compress, dry out, or get misaligned over time, and thermal paste loses effectiveness. The result is higher temperatures, fan noise, thermal throttling, and crashes. Replacing both pads and paste brings your GPU back to safe operating temps.
What the Service Includes
- Disassembly & inspection under ESD-safe workflow
- Old paste removal (GPU die & heatsink contact surface)
- Thermal pad audit & mapping (VRAM, VRM, inductors, hot-spots)
- Precision pad sizing using Upsiren 16 W/mK thermal pads for excellent conductivity
- Premium paste application — GD2, Arctic MX-4, or Arctic MX-6
- Heatsink & fin stack cleaning; fan hub dust-out if needed
- Reassembly with balanced pressure (even mount torque / cross pattern)
- Validation & stress testing to confirm temperature improvements
Materials We Use
We only use Upsiren 16 W/mK thermal pads for high conductivity and long lifespan. For paste, we stock GD2, Arctic MX-4, and Arctic MX-6, all of which are proven, non-conductive, and reliable under high loads.
Typical Symptoms This Fixes
- GPU overheating or VRAM hot-spot temps spiking
- Loud fans, thermal throttling, or clock drops under load
- Random driver crashes or game instability after minutes of play
- Artifacts due to poor VRAM contact/insufficient pad thickness
Pricing
Pricing depends on pad area, thickness mix, and model complexity. You’ll receive a clear quote before we proceed. (See our pricing policy.)
Looking for paste-only? See our dedicated service: Thermal Paste Replacement (AED 30 flat).
Results You Can Expect
- Lower core & VRAM temperatures under load
- Reduced fan noise and improved acoustics
- Stability gains in games, rendering, and long sessions
- Longer component lifespan due to better thermals
