What Is the GPU Diagnostics Service?
Diagnosing a graphics card requires extensive testing, specialised equipment, and often many hours of methodical troubleshooting. Our GPU Diagnostics service covers a full board-level inspection of your graphics card and delivers a written fault report with everything we find.
This service is ideal if you:
- Want to know exactly what is wrong before committing to a repair.
- Need a professional fault report for an insurance claim.
- Have purchased a secondhand GPU and want it inspected before use.
- Are unsure whether repair is worth the cost for your specific card.
- Want an independent assessment after a previous repair attempt elsewhere.
What the Fault Report Covers
- Confirmed faults — exactly what is wrong and which components are affected.
- Power rail and VRM analysis — voltage delivery and regulator health.
- Memory subsystem check — VRAM integrity and error detection.
- Core subsystem assessment — GPU die condition and BGA joint status.
- Thermal condition report — paste, pad, and heatsink status.
- Repairability verdict — whether the card can be repaired and what is involved.
- Repair cost estimate — full breakdown of what a repair would cost if you choose to proceed.
How the Process Works
- Book online — submit the repair form and select your GPU tier.
- Ship or drop off your GPU — follow the instructions in your confirmation email.
- GPU received and verified — once your GPU arrives, we confirm the correct tier. If your GPU is a different tier from what was selected at booking, an updated payment link is sent before any work begins.
- Diagnostic fee payment — you receive a payment link for the diagnostic fee. Diagnosis begins only after payment is cleared.
- Fault report delivered — your written report is sent once diagnosis is complete.
- You decide — proceed with repair (fee credited in full) or no repair (fee retained).
Diagnostic Fee — Upfront & Non-Refundable
The diagnostic fee is charged upfront before diagnosis begins. It is non-refundable as it covers the time, equipment, and expertise invested in testing your GPU regardless of the outcome.
However, if you choose to proceed with a repair after receiving your fault report, the diagnostic fee is credited in full against your repair cost. You never pay twice — it simply becomes part of your repair bill.
Pricing by GPU Tier
- AED 100 — Tier 1 entry-level cards
- AED 150 — Tier 2 mid-range cards
- AED 200 — Tier 3 high-end cards
- AED 400 — Tier 4 flagship cards
See our GPU Repair Pricing Page to find which tier your card belongs to.
What Happens After the Report?
Once your fault report is ready, we share it with you and present your options:
- Proceed with repair — diagnostic fee credited in full, repair begins after your approval.
- Decline repair — diagnostic fee retained, GPU returned to you.
- Card deemed beyond repair — diagnostic fee retained, GPU returned with full written report.
How to Book
Book online using our standard repair form. We will guide you through shipping or drop-off. Your fault report will be delivered digitally once the diagnosis is complete.
